Plant Kindness Card from Inspiration Planter

170604_Plant_CardUsing black card stock, I hand drew the design and hand wrote the words (Plant Kindness). I used the Jane Davenport Paint Over Pens and the Signo Uni-ball White Gel Pen to create the designs. I adhered my finished art work to a piece of pink card stock cut with a scalloped rectangle die and then adhered that to a white card base.

170420_WatercolorStencil_1Recently I was able to purchase a beautiful flower stencil created by Jane Davenport. I traced around the stencil with watercolor pencils and then watercolored the flowers.

Distress Ink Watercolored Flowers

170325_Stampendous_CarnationsThis time I tried a different watercoloring technique. First I stamped the image in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I then used my wet paintbrush to pull the paint outward from the stamped image to make a border all around the image.

Watercolored Critter Tags

170312_Watercolor_Tags_1I made these cute little tags for my granddaughter to sell in order to make money for an upcoming graduation trip she was planning. I used a variety of my critter and cute stamps to stamp on the tags and then watercolored the images with Distress Ink.
