Distress Ink Watercolored Flowers

170325_Stampendous_CarnationsThis time I tried a different watercoloring technique. First I stamped the image in Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I then used my wet paintbrush to pull the paint outward from the stamped image to make a border all around the image.

Mistletoe Christmas Cards

Last year at the after Christmas clearance sales, I purchased a beautiful stamp set by Hero Arts. The stamp set featured a large sprig of mistletoe and I was taken with how beautifully it was drawn. I made several Christmas cards this year using this stamp set. I also used the sentiments in the set on many of my other Christmas cards and Christmas H.U.G. cards.

Little Pumpkin

2 Cute Ink Digital Stamp watercolored with Distress Inks

I just couldn’t resist watercoloring this cute little pumpkin eating his cute little pumpkin cookie. The pumpkin is a digital stamp from 2 Cute Ink. I also used a stamp to cover the background paper.

Ornaments Christmas Card

Ornaments Christmas CardMy friend Maaike recently shared a video of a beautiful card she created and that is what inspired me to create this card. I love the simplicity of the card design. When I designed my card, I changed several elements including embossing the card front, using a navy panel to place my ornaments on and using scrapbook paper to die cut my ornaments.

Supplies:

  • Neenah Classic Crest 80 pound Smooth Solar White Card Stock
  • Recollections: Passion Fruit Card Stock
  • Recollections: Winter Frost 6 x 6 paper pad (link not available)
  • Recollections: Winter Frost Glitter tape (link not available)
  • Recollections: Winter Frost Twine (link not available)
  • My Favorite Things: Die-namics Howdy Frames to die cut the ornaments (link not available)
  • Darice: Crackle Embossing Folder
