I watercolored this card using a different style of watercoloring than I am used too. I’m not sure if the style has a name, but I would call it loose or messy watercoloring. I really enjoyed trying the technique and I know that I will use it again soon in a watercolor project. It is such a departure from my detailed and controlled style of watercoloring that I’m just not sure how much I like it.
I was able to use a beautiful stamp set called Lovely Garden by Stampendous for the flowers, leaves, and butterfly. My watercolor medium was Distress Ink. Zig Clear Glitter Wink of Stella brush pen was applied to the butterfly for shimmer.
